Editorial principles
Memória do Gelo uses technology to support research, topic organization, writing and review. Automation does not replace the obligation to verify facts, identify sources and correct errors.
How artificial intelligence is used
- topic discovery through feeds and public sources;
- initial organization and synthesis of information;
- support for writing, translation, review and classification;
- duplicate detection and recording of consulted sources.
Publication rules
Content must be original, useful and based on identifiable sources. We do not publish unsupported factual claims, fabricated quotations, synthetic images presented as real, or full copies of third-party content.
Images, videos and rights
Real images of events are used only when there is a valid basis for use, license, authorization or appropriate journalistic context. Captions must identify origin and credit. Files hosted by the site preserve this information. Embedded videos remain hosted on the source platform and retain their identification.
Responsibility
Memória do Gelo is responsible for the content it publishes, even when automated tools participate in the process. Errors may be reported through the Contact page and are handled according to the Corrections Policy.
Updates
This page may be updated as editorial processes and the technologies used evolve.
